Utah Licensed Clinical Nurse

Providing clinical support in Juvenile Justice and Youth Services (JJYS) facilities, the part-time hourly Utah Licensed Clinical Nurse will assess patients, implement clinical interventions, and develop care plans while collaborating with a clinical team across various locations in Utah. Key responsibilities Identifies and assesses patient health problems through nursing assessment and patient interaction Implements evidence-based interventions and formulates care plans for specific patients Maintains a safe patient care environment and provides guidance to the healthcare team to ensure quality care Required qualifications Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah or eligibility to obtain one within 90 days of hire Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system to be obtained within 30 days of hire Ability to obtain Certified Correctional Healthcare Professional (CCHP) certification within one year of starting Experience in nursing assessment and patient care in a clinical setting Compliance with immunization requirements as per CDC standards and hospital policy
