- Strong background in qualitative research methods (interviews, contextual inquiry, workflow analysis)
- Experience working in ambiguous problem spaces requiring structured discovery
- Ability to translate research findings into frameworks, models, or strategic recommendations
- Exposure to platforms involving automation, decision-support systems, or multi-step workflows
Plusses
- Experience with AI, automation, or agent-based systems
- Background in safety-critical or highly regulated environments (e.g., energy, healthcare, finance)
- Exposure to service design or experience architecture
- Familiarity with concepts like trust, governance, and system transparency
Day-to-Day
- Lead discovery efforts through interviews and artifact review
- Map current-state workflows and identify key decision points
- Surface risks related to trust, safety, and system interpretation
- Develop insights and translate them into future-state experience recommendations
- Support workshops and working sessions to validate assumptions and stress-test concepts
- Partner closely with design, product, and technical teams to align on findings
