Job Overview
We are looking for a UI/UX Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern UI/UX principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for enterprise applications.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand business and user requirements.
- Translate business requirements and workflows into effective UI/UX designs.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and user flows.
- Participate in application modernization initiatives involving legacy systems.
- Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback into design improvements.
- Ensure consistency, accessibility, responsiveness, and usability across applications.
- Document UI/UX standards, workflows, and design specifications.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in UI/UX design and development.
- Understanding of legacy application modernization and integration with modern UI technologies.
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and mockups.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern UI frameworks.
- Experience working with APIs and backend integration.
- Strong understanding of usability, responsive design, and accessibility.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and business teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RPG/RPGLE, DB2, CL, or IBM i environments.
- Knowledge of React, Angular, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Experience with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Experience in enterprise application modernization projects.
