What you will do

You will lead and coordinate user acceptance testing activities across monthly and weekly cycles, partnering with IT, operations, and field testers to validate business processes in IBS and NxGen. The role is responsible for organizing test plans, environments, defect follow-up, reporting, and stakeholder communication so releases move forward with confidence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly and weekly IT testing requirements for HVAC business processes, including data fixes, enhancements, and release-related work.
  • Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of User Acceptance Testing for the HVAC business across IT, operations, and other business centers.
  • Partner with field testers and cross-functional stakeholders to support test execution, issue triage, and timely defect resolution.
  • Coordinate the preparation of testing environments, nightly refreshes, tester access, and required test data.
  • Create, maintain, and review the cross-functional UAT Test Plan, IT release schedule, UAT scenarios, and test cases.
  • Facilitate meetings across teams to address testing challenges, defects, and release readiness.
  • Provide status updates and reporting on UAT progress to key stakeholders and project teams.
  • Coordinate the review, closure, and validation of defects between IT, UAT, and external stakeholders.
  • Review UAT test results with business stakeholders and ensure test evidence standards are followed across the program.
  • Attend project status meetings, capture changes to requirements or release plans, and communicate updates to the wider team.

How You Will Do It

  • Own the testing plan and execution with accountability, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Stay close to the field testers and business users so issues are identified early and blockers are removed quickly.
  • Use clear, candid reporting and strong follow-through to keep defects, evidence, and release decisions under control.
  • Improve every cycle by learning from test results, closing gaps, and strengthening the next round of testing.
  • Work as one team across IT, operations, and external stakeholders to adapt quickly when priorities or release plans change.

What we look for

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA or UAT Lead in systems testing, integration testing, acceptance testing, or regression testing.
  • Very strong knowledge of Oracle HVAC Installation tools (IBS) and NxGen, including at least 5 years of NxGen experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel.
  • Experience using JIRA for reporting and issue tracking.
  • Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships across IT and non-IT teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across varying levels of personnel.
  • Ability to work across different time zones and after hours for smoke testing as needed.

Nice to Have

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment with strong initiative, teamwork, and adaptability.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,000-$150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience,knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with marketdata.)
