We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team at Walmart. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our low voltage systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence, integrity, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently

Ensure all installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations

Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Maintainaccurateand detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs

Evaluate existing systems todetermineif upgrades or enhancements are needed

Perform system upgrades to improve performance orcomply withnew standards

Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project completion

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provideappropriate solutions

Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Communicate effectively in person or by using telecommunications equipment

BICSI Installer Certification

OSHA10- or 30-hourcertification/training

NICET 1 & 2 Fire Alarm certification

Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Hold and maintain jurisdiction-required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work (reciprocal license may apply and licensing requirements vary by state).
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
Commercial driving record with no DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations within the last three (3) years.
Commercial driving record with no preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle within the last three (3) years.
Commercial driving record with no serious traffic violations, as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, within the last three (3) years.
Ability to successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and obtain medical certification valid for at least one (1) year.
As required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
Option 1: 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related technical trade. Option 2: 2 years’ Walmart store experience.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Experience in local electrical codes and standards.
