Role summary:The Senior Director, Payer Programs, leads the strategic direction and execution of payer program implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance. About the team:
You will join Walmart’s Payer Relations team, a cross-functional group leading contracting strategy with PBMs, payers, and health plans. This team drives enterprise financial performance, ensures optimal reimbursement for pharmacy and medical services, and shapes strategic partnerships that advance Walmart’s healthcare goals. The team plays a key role in enhancing contracting rigor and implementing innovative payment models. Members collaborate closely to align business strategies, manage regulatory compliance, and mitigate risks, ensuring effective stakeholder communications and successful execution of payer programs that support Walmart’s commitment to delivering value in healthcare.
