GBaMS ReqID: The Interconnection Agreement Negotiator will facilitate negotiations and manage activities related to interconnection agreements, including co-managing the Change of Law and amendment project to implement the FCC's recent order pertaining to 911.Responsibilities:Lead and support negotiations for interconnection and related telecom agreementsManage increased contract activity related to T911 offers and the decommissioning of commercial UNE contractsValidate secretary of state license and Public Service Commission certifications match the contractDocument all communication about contract negotiationsComplete database forms and submit required documentation to Contract Management for contract production, processing, and executionPrepare and file regulatory agreements and amendmentsCollaborate with stakeholders to align agreements with regulatory compliance and business objectivesSkills:Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skillsFamiliarity with Section 251 of the Telecom Act, including interconnection, UNEs, resale, number portability, and 911Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or 5–8 years of experience in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Experience with telecom interconnection agreements, regulatory compliance, and network operationsExcellent communication and documentation abilitiesProject management experience in telecom or related industries preferredFamiliarity with general terms and conditions in contracts and complex contract constructionAbility to interpret and apply regulatory and contractual requirements
