Data Scientist - Upstream R&D Cell CultureBecome part of a highly skilled team of experts working to develop innovative cell culture products. Your role will be to generate scalable use cases and data products that translate functional requirements into data models and processes to drive the development of our products and solutions. Join us as a Data Scientist within the Upstream R&D Cell Culture team. As a member of our Upstream R&D Cell Culture analytics team, you plan and lead the development of data analytic techniques, methodologies, and solutions from design to implementation, prototyping & testing.
By applying statistical & machine learning methods hidden patterns & information from data are discovered, to be used for decision making. Use machine learning algorithms, libraries, and tools to build models. Apply statistical learning models and know how to transfer a business problem to a solution with applied data science. You will need to apply data analysis, data mining, and data processing to present data clearly.

(or higher) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, or related fieldFamiliarity with modern analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, R, Python, SQL)Understanding of statistics (hypothesis testing, regressions, etc.)Experience in querying and manipulating raw datasets for analysisKnowledge and experience in data modeling, data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive analyticsAbility to understand and communicate complex ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiencesTech Skills:Statistical analysis (multivariate analysis, design of experiment), e.g., PLS, PCA, DoEPython Tableau JMP, JMP Pro, Alteryx, MinitabData Scientist: Math skills (statistics, optimization, linear algebra, numerics)Prototype to test modelsUnderstanding of business domainFeature engineeringThis position is part of our Group Data Strategy.
