Job Title
Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers. May require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. May report to an executive or a manager.
This job has a heavy concentration of FAR-15 POs and 1 to 2 years of experience with government sourcing is a plus; the main focus is supporting the fulfillment team bringing parts in-house once POs are released to suppliers.
