Job Description:
• Scheduling inbound and outbound loads using SAP / WMS and Transportation Management systems.
• Work closely with the DC manager and third-party shipping office on maximizing the dock schedule.
• Work with other team members to answer customer and carrier email questions in a timely manner.
• Run specific reports timely and distribute to appropriate teams using email distribution list or downloading to shared drive file.
• Communicate trailer needs to carriers and monitors trailer pool at each DC.
• Other duties that relate to transportation
Job Requirements:
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships within a third-party distribution center.
• Timely and effective verbal and written communications.
• Must possess strong analytical skills including problem resolution and analysis.
• Computer literacy in Client Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong skill set in WMS, RedPrairie, and SAP.
