OSIsoft PI Admin/OT Infrastructure AnalystThe OSIsoft PI Admin/OT Infrastructure Analyst specializes in supporting and maintaining the OSIsoft PI system at the El Segundo refinery including the PI Data Archive (Historian), PI AF, and PI Vision. The position also entails supporting and maintaining additional OT (Operational Technology) applications on the PCN (Process Control Network). Specific responsibilities include:Provide day-to-day production support for the PI system including the PI Data Archive, PI AF, and PI Vision.Provide installation, configuration, and monitoring support for the PI system servers and various PI system data interfaces.Assist end users with the use of PI tools including PI System Explorer (to build PI AF templates, calculations, event frames, etc.), PI Vision for creation of displays, and other PI end user client tools such as PI DataLink.Create, monitor, and provide maintenance for PI system tags.Assist with monthly server patches and other information and risk compliance related tasks.Provide technical expertise in the identification, analysis, and resolution of problems.Perform root cause analysis along with recommending and implementing preventive techniques as required.Develop and maintain effective application technical support documentation including procedures.Work directly with vendors and IT entities to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Participate on project teams to deliver new functionality and to support corporate initiatives.Ensure adherence to change management processes.Interact and provide support for end users.Provide periodic 24x7 on-call rotation support.Required Qualifications (10 years of relevant experiences):Experience supporting and troubleshooting the OSIsoft PI system including the PI Data Archive, PI AF, and PI Vision.Experience interfacing PI systems with DCS systems (Experion, Honeywell, RSLinx) or other OPC technologiesExperience supporting and troubleshooting application infrastructure in PCN / DMZ network environments; understanding of the Purdue ModelExperience troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft Windows 2012R2 / 2016 / 2019 servers (IaaS) in single-server virtual and physical configurations.Experience providing design, testing and implementation support for and participation in internally-driven platform deployment or lifecycle projects, and/or customer-facing projectsDemonstrated application of strong analytical and problem-solving skills to help the team identify, communicate, and resolve issuesStrong oral and written communication skillsDesired Qualifications:A 2-year Associates degree or higher, in technology or a related business disciplineExperience with scripting and automation utilizing PowerShellUnderstanding of Agile methodologies / SAFe framework; experience with Microsoft ADOSelection Criteria:Grow Capabilities: demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms in support of continuously developing in this role.Strong working knowledge of the OSIsoft PI systemExperience supporting and troubleshooting application infrastructure in PCN / DMZ network environments; understanding of the Purdue ModelStrong demonstrated skills in time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and customer engagementStrong oral and written communication skillsPlease note this position requires refinery access so site specific onboarding for El Segundo is required through OSCA.
