US Analyst – International Trade & Transaction Banking (ITB) – Export and Trade Finance (ETF)

Location: New York, NY

Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank's Export and Trade Finance department is seeking a recent college graduate for a 2‑year US Analyst program. The role supports Originating and Structuring Export and Trade finance teams and aims to develop the candidate into a full‑time position at the end of the program.

Scope

• Export Finance products: Export Credit Financing with ECAs
• Commercial Financing
• Multilateral agency loans (IFC, IDB, etc.)
• Trade Finance products: Export documentary letters of credit and confirmations, cross‑border trade‑related standby L/Cs, performance guarantees
• Receivables and Supply Chain Financing: Forfaiting/Receivables purchase facilities, Supply Chain Financing
• Transaction Banking: Working Capital Facilities, Deposits, Cash Management

Responsibilities

• Identify transactions fitting within the scope of Export and Trade Finance strategy
• Structure transactions and prepare term sheets and offers
• Prepare and submit Business and Credit Committee materials in New York and Paris
• Ensure proper follow‑up of transactions (funding, documentation, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies (KYC, etc.)
• Monitor transactions (covenants, annual reviews, liaise with the credit department)
• Assist with the disbursement process for ECA‑guaranteed transactions
• Help develop each business line throughout the Latam market
• Prepare product line internal and external presentations
• Elaborate product line monthly and annual reporting

Qualifications

• Essential: Credit experience, thorough knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), good interpersonal and commercial skills, teamwork, strong work ethics, initiative, dynamism, effectiveness and commercial/technical skills to support activities, fluency in English and Spanish
• Desirable: Portuguese language skills
