- Work Schedule:
- Clinic is 8 am - 5 pm
- OR hours are 7 am - 5 pm
- 3-4 days in the clinic, 1 day in the OR
- Inpatient or Outpatient: Both
- Patient Volume: Clinic volume is typically about 35 patients per day and OR volume is dependent on length of cases scheduled
- Staffing Mix:
- MD / PA
- Works closely with interventional radiology
- Hosp do admin / discharges

- Prostate needle biopsy - Vasectomy
- Baby circumcisions
- Cystoscopy
- Ureteroscopy
- Ureteral stent placement
- Difficult catheter placement guided by cystoscopy and wire
- Lithotripsy
- Bladder fulguration
- Irrigation and evacuation of blood clots
- Urethral stricture dilation
- Orchiopexy
- Scrotal debridement
- Scrotal exploration
- Scrotal abscess I&D
- Circumcision for paraphimosis
- Suprapubic catheter placement
- TURP (sometimes)
- TURBT (sometimes)
- Certifications required: BC Urology
- Background Experience: BC Urology
