JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Indiana medical license or IMLC eligibility
- Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (Certification required within 5 years of residency)
- DEA: Active DEA Certification required
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA issued) required for all specialties
- ACLS (AHA issued) required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of urology experience
- Vaccination Requirements:
- Flu vaccination required (or approved medical/religious exemption)
- COVID vaccination required (or approved medical/religious exemption)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide inpatient urology care and hospital call coverage
- Perform inpatient rounding during call coverage
- Manage general urology cases including complex catheter placements
- Perform diagnostic and surgical urologic procedures as required
- Coordinate care with hospital staff and specialists
- Enter orders and maintain accurate medical documentation within the Epic EMR system
