What You ll Do
- Provide 24-hour urology call coverage, including rounding and discharge support
- Respond to 2-5 patient calls per 24 hours, on-site for approximately 2-4 hours daily for callback
- Manage inpatient and outpatient urology cases, including kidney stones, stent placements, hematuria, and complex catheterizations
- Support hospital team with consults, procedures, and patient assessments
- Document all call and patient interactions thoroughly for compliance and audit purposes
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care and safety
What You Need
- Active Urology NP or PA license in Michigan
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in urology or inpatient settings
- Strong communication and clinical skills with ability to respond promptly
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
