Urology Physician

Med Ninjas is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Potsdam, New York . This assignment offers primarily outpatient clinic coverage with inpatient consults, procedures, and postoperative rounding as needed.

Full-time coverage is preferred, but the facility will consider physicians who can provide approximately two weeks of coverage per month .

• Location: Potsdam, New York
• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• Contract Length: Approximately 6 months
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Clinic Hours: Primarily Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Coverage: Full-time preferred, but two weeks per month may be considered
• Call: Optional and flexible based on availability
• Call Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Setting: Primarily outpatient with inpatient consults and rounding
• Patient Population: Adults, age 18 and older
• Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
• Cases: Bread-and-butter Urology
• EMR: Epic
• Trauma Designation: Level III
• OR Block: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Support Staff: LPNs, clinical support staff, and a patient representative

• Outpatient Urology clinic
• General Urology procedures
• Inpatient consultations
• Postoperative rounding when needed
• Adult patient care
• Optional 24-hour call coverage based on availability

• Board Certified in Urology in the United States
• Active New York medical license required
• Epic experience required
• BLS required
• Current and complete work history
• Explanation required for employment gaps longer than 30 days
• Malpractice explanation required when applicable
• Name clear required before submission

Travel and lodging may be reimbursed according to facility guidelines. Itemized receipts and advance approval may be required for certain expenses.
