Locums - Plant City, Florida, Urology Opening
Clinical Role
- ASAP start with ongoing need
- Call coverage for urgent and emergent Urology cases
- Unassigned patients
- Level II Trauma Center
- Cases may include cystoscopy, ureteroscopy for stones, stent placement, bleeding, strictures, and other urgent/emergent Urology needs
Schedule & Call
- Call coverage
- 30-45 minute response time required
Equipment & OR Support
- Disposable and flexible cystoscopes and ureteroscopes
- Rigid telescopes
- Stents, baskets, dilators, catheters, and additional Urology instrumentation
- Laser services and Lithoclast
- TUR/TURB instrumentation
- In-house radiology support for intraoperative C-arm needs
- Video boom systems and OR tables equipped for Urologic procedures
- Mobile Urology Cart available for non-surgical care in the Emergency Department and inpatient units
- Cerner EMR
Requirements & Credentialing
- Board Certified in Urology required
- Active Florida license required
- Fellowship training preferred
- ACLS and BLS required
