• Call Coverage: After-hours call and 24-hour weekend call
• Patient Volume: Approximately 6-8 patients per day

• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient neurology coverage

• Board Certified in Neurology required
• Active Michigan medical license required
• Active DEA required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• At least 1 year of neurology experience required
• NIH Stroke Scale/tPA competency preferred
• Ability to provide local coverage without air travel
• Clean malpractice history preferred, with details provided at submission
• Self-query NPDB completed within the last month required

• Provide comprehensive neurology coverage for inpatient and outpatient needs
• See patients in the clinic during scheduled daytime hours
• Cover inpatient neurology call after hours and on weekends
• Perform EEG reads for both inpatient and outpatient cases as needed
• Interpret radiologic exams related to neurological care
• Perform lumbar punctures, brain death examinations, and evoked potential evaluations as needed
• Deliver timely, patient-focused neurologic assessments and treatment recommendations
• Collaborate with the care team to support smooth coverage and continuity of care
