Shift: Monday Friday; Monday Thursday Surgery 7:00 AM 2:00 PM and Clinic 3:00 PM 5:00 PM; Friday Clinic 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Position Details: 1.0 FTE; coverage needed 1 2 weeks per month with 24-hour call Monday Thursday and clinic only on Friday
Patient Population: Minimum 17 clinic patients daily
Setting: Hospital and physician clinic
Responsibilities: Attend to clinic patients, provide on-call coverage for hospital emergencies and admissions, and perform surgeries
Required Procedures: Circumcision/Dorsal Slit, Orchiopexy, Cystoscopy, Stent Placement, Botox Injection, Bladder Biopsy, Urolift, Hydrocelectomy, Laser Lithotripsy, Prostate Biopsy, TURP, Ureteroscopy, and other listed urology procedures; no Da Vinci or robotics required
EMR System: Meditech, eClinical Works
Support Staff: Clinic MA, Perioperative Nurses, and Clinic RN
Days Per Month: 1 2 weeks per month
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call Monday Thursday; no call Friday
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified highly preferred; Board Eligible accepted if recently out of residency and will obtain Board Certification within 12 months
- Oregon License highly preferred; candidates willing to obtain Oregon license during credentialing will be accepted
- Residency, BLS, and DEA required
- Clean malpractice and availability at the time of name clear highly preferred
