Opportunity:

Physician - Urology


Job Details:

  • Locum tenens urology coverage position focused on inpatient call coverage

  • 24-hour beeper call schedule, with shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM

  • Coverage need is approximately 1 week per month, with 3-4 24-hour call shifts scheduled per week (additional shifts possible based on provider comfort and census)

  • Average callback is 4-5 hours daily, varying depending on cases

  • Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift

  • Board certification required;
    active license or IMLC required;
    DEA required

  • BLS certification required

  • General urology skills required, with adult patient population focus

  • Preferred skills include percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)

  • Seeking 1-2 additional locum providers to add to existing coverage pool
