Jackson and Coker is seeking a Board Certified Urology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Michigan, starting ASAP and continuing ongoing. This role involves a dynamic mix of clinic hours, call coverage, and operating room duties, including both scheduled and emergency surgeries. The position offers a fast-paced environment with APP support and covers inpatient and outpatient urology across multiple facilities.
Practice Info
- Clinic + call, beeper call, and clinic only shifts available
- Call coverage spans 3 affiliated facilities
- APP support available (four APPs on staff; limited availability on Fridays)
- High volume, fast paced
- Inpatient and outpatient urology coverage
- Patient volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
- Trauma coverage includes Level III and Level IV facilities
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour call coverage
- Perform both scheduled and emergency surgeries
- Conduct general urological procedures

Shift & Schedule
- Clinic hours: Monday–Thursday, 8 AM – 4 PM
- Friday clinic hours: 8 AM – 12 PM
- 24-hour call coverage required
- Weekly schedule includes a mix of operating room, clinic, and call coverage
Requirements
- Board certified
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience
- Comfortable taking charge
- Robot‑trained strongly preferred
- Vasectomies preferred, not required
