- 10-14 days/month, defined blocks Sept through December
- Temp privileges available Assignment Details
- Start/end: Defined blocks - 9/8-18, 9/28-10/2, 11/16-30, 12/18-23; 10-14 days/month
- Schedule: Clinic 8am-5pm (may be on site earlier for surgery); beeper call, 15-min response, 1:2 or 1:3 ratio. Breakdown 60% clinic, 10% hospital, 30% procedures/surgeries
- Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call, inpatient and outpatient
- Volume: 16-20 patients/shift
- Setting: Level 2 trauma, stroke certified, admissions required; children's hospital
- Support: 1 RN, 4 MAs, 5 PA/NPs, 1 office staff; will supervise APPs
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing: 60 days Clinical Details
- Required scope: General adult urology, laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures; typical procedures include cystoscopy, stent placement/removal, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, bladder instillation
- Preferred scope: Pediatric urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, PCNL, partial nephrectomy/intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, ESWL
- Must be willing to treat pediatric testicular torsion and some pediatric urology patients presenting to the ER
- Rounds on assigned and unassigned patients Requirements
