Locums Urology Clinic, Surgery + Call Marshfield, WI Why This Role Ongoing general Urology coverage for 10 Äì14 days per month Balanced mix of clinic, inpatient care, and procedures State license not required at presentation Strong clinical support from five APPs, four MAs, and one RN Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Dates: September 8 Äì18, 2026 September 28 ÄìOctober 2, 2026 November 16 Äì30, 2026 December 18 Äì23, 2026 Commitment: 10 Äì14 days per month Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call Settings: Inpatient and outpatient Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM Äì5:00 PM; earlier arrival may be required for surgery Call: Beeper call, approximately 1:2 or 1:3 Response Time: 15 minutes Patient Volume: Approximately 16 Äì20 per shift Scope Breakdown: 60% clinic, 10% hospital, and 30% procedures/surgeries EMR: Cerner Credentialing: Approximately 60 days; temporary privileges available Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology Current BLS General adult Urology experience Required competency in: Laparoscopic surgery Ureteroscopy Nephrectomy and prostatectomy Robotic surgery TRUS-guided prostate biopsy Incontinence procedures Willingness to manage pediatric testicular torsion and occasional pediatric Urology cases presenting through the ER Ability to supervise APPs Hospital privileges Must use Marshfield Äôs real-time mobile timekeeping system, preferably with GPS Candidates beginning a permanent position within the next several months will not be considered Clinical Details Manage assigned and unassigned inpatient and outpatient Urology patients Provide clinic, hospital, procedural, surgical, and beeper-call coverage Typical procedures include: Cystoscopy Ureteral stent placement and removal Prostate biopsy Vasectomy Bladder instillation Available equipment includes X-ray, cystoscopes, rigid scopes, bladder scanners, and TRUS Advanced endoscopy, PCNL, partial nephrectomy, adrenalectomy, renal/bladder ultrasound, and ESWL experience preferred Pediatric Urology experience preferred
