Urology Physician

We are seeking a Urologist for an ASAP locum assignment in Longview, Washington, providing a combination of clinic, inpatient, OR, and call coverage.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Inpatient + outpatient coverage
• Hospital and Urology clinic approximately 1 mile apart
• 122-bed acute care hospital
• Provider works independently
• Epic EMR

Schedule & Call

• 7 days of unrestricted/restricted beeper call per month
• Approximately 0 4 after-hours calls/texts
• 10-minute return-call response
• Must remain approximately 30 minutes from the hospital while on call
• 4 gratis hours included with call
• Administrative time paid hourly

Patient Volume

• Approximately 18 patients per day

Clinical Responsibilities

• General Urology clinic and surgical care
• Kidney stone management
• Erectile dysfunction
• Male incontinence
• Annual medication refills
• Surgical assistance

Procedures include cystoscopy, catheter and stent placement, TURP, ureteroscopy, prostate biopsy, circumcision, ESWL, orchiopexy, TURBT, hydrocelectomy, spermatocelectomy, PVP, and litholapaxy.

• Da Vinci experience is strongly preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active Washington license preferred for fastest start
• IMLC candidates may now be considered but must have LOQ in hand
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• Must provide case logs documenting at least 100 surgical procedures within the previous 24 months

Credentialing

• Fast-track/urgent credentialing will be pursued

Ideal Candidate

An experienced Urologist comfortable practicing independently across clinic, inpatient, OR, and call coverage, with recent general Urology surgical experience and availability to start quickly.
