Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Urology
Summary: Join a dedicated team at a Level II Trauma Center in Kearney, Nebraska, providing urology call coverage. This medical facility is well-equipped and staffed to handle various urological emergencies and surgeries, ensuring that patients receive top-notch care.
Job Responsibilities:- Cover Urology calls and receive handoff from Urologists when appropriate.
- Perform general urology procedures as required.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation.
- Work alongside surgery nurses and techs on call to provide efficient patient care.
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation, including possible callbacks.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (mandatory).
- Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).
- Case logs from the last 2 years required for consideration.
- Valid Nebraska medical license (highly preferred).
- Availability at the time of name clear (mandatory).
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- DEA license for prescribing controlled substances.
- State license to practice in Nebraska.
