Physician - Urology
Job Details:
Provide urology clinic and call coverage, typically 3 to 4 days of call per week Perform rounding on inpatients, approximately 2 to 4 patients per shift Respond to consults in a timely manner, with an average of 5 to 7 consults expected Expected patient encounters per shift range from 15 to 20 Must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Urology or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (Urological Surgery) Current Pennsylvania license or IMLC preferred General urology experience required, with adult patients required and pediatric experience preferred Ureteroscopy, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures are required skills Preferred skills include advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, pelvic node dissection, robotic surgery, partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, penile prosthesis, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), renal transplant surgery, and advanced pediatric surgery Facility is a Level 1 trauma center Lodging arrangements are made by the facility Nearest airports include Pittsburgh, Latrobe, or Johnstown Facility:
