Jackson and Coker is seeking a Board Certified Urology Physician for locum tenens call coverage in Georgia. This role involves providing essential urology services across four hospitals, primarily at one main facility. The position offers an opportunity to manage inpatient and emergency consults, perform emergent procedures, and conduct daily rounds without clinic duties.
Practice Info
- Provide call coverage for four hospitals (on first call), with the majority of time spent at one hospital
- Hotel call or call room onsite if preferred
- With locum call will be 1:4
- Manage transfers to the main facility (low volume of transfers, possibility of around 1/day)
- No clinic
- EMR EPIC
Responsibilities
- Provide call coverage
- Manage transfers to the main facility
- Covering IP, ER consults, call/emergent procedures and rounding
- Perform Bread and Butter Urology procedures (no advanced procedures)

Shift & Schedule
- 7am September 21 - 7am September 24
- 7am December 21 - 7am December 24
- Ongoing 1 week/month (7am Mon- 7am Mon) for 2027
- 24 hour beeper call 7A-7A
- Average of 1-2 hours/day for consults and rounding
- Average of 1-2 callbacks/day
Requirements
- Board Certified required
- Georgia license required
- Clean background
- Active Georgia license and DEA required
