Work Hours:
6 AM start and finish, 24-hour call

Responsibilities:

• Perform standard urology procedures: stone care, stents, catheters, cystoscopies, torsions (including pediatrics), incidental appendectomies, adrenal surgeries, hernia repairs, endourology procedures, hand-assisted laparoscopic nephrectomies, etc.
• Round on in-patients, perform procedures as needed, and respond to consults.
• Handle trauma/open procedures such as gunshot wounds involving kidneys or testicles, stab wounds, bladder repairs, etc.
• Work in a busy Level 1 trauma center with a census that typically grows to 20-25 over the weekend, with 15-20 consults each weekend.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Urology
• Active South Carolina Medical License
• CSR and DEA certifications
• At least 1 year of experience
