Urology Opening in Eureka, CA We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to join an established outpatient practice. This permanent opportunity offers scheduled clinical hours with shared call responsibilities and the opportunity to develop a specialized practice in female urology.
- Practice Setting: Outpatient
- Scheduled clinical hours plus shared beeper call
- EMR: Epic
- Average Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day Call Responsibilities
- Shared beeper call
- Response time: 20-30 minutes Clinical Responsibilities
- Required Experience: General adult urology, Advanced endoscopic techniques, Laparoscopic surgery, Ureteroscopy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Pelvic lymph node dissection, Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, and Fertility evaluations
- Preferred Experience: Percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), Radical cystectomy with ileal conduit, Radical prostatectomy, Robotic surgery, Partial nephrectomy with intraoperative ultrasound, Adrenalectomy, Incontinence procedures, Penile prosthesis, and Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) Candidate Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency)
- Fellowship training in Female Urology required
- Must obtain state medical licensure (candidates willing to obtain licensure are encouraged to apply)
- Must have or be actively working toward obtaining fluoroscopy certification required by the state
