Position Details: 24-hour hospital and surgery coverage. The physician will see patients locally and provide phone-call coverage for surrounding medical centers as needed. Coverage is PRN, approximately once every weeks.
Patient Population: All urologic patients;
Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.
Setting: Hospital / Surgery
Type of Healthcare Facility: Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: Provide 24-hour urology coverage, evaluate and treat urologic patients in the hospital and surgery setting, and respond to phone calls from surrounding medical centers as needed.
Required Procedures: Urology procedures as required by the hospital/surgical service.
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: No APP support
Days Per Month: PRN, approximately once every weeks
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour on-call coverage required. Callback averages approximately hours per day.
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC LOQ in hand
- DEA required
- Minimum experience not specified;
new graduates will be considered
