Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult and pediatric patients with urologic conditions including kidney stones, BPH, incontinence, urinary tract infections, and other common urologic disorders.
Setting: Single-site urology practice with outpatient care, operating rooms, hospital consultations, and emergency room consultations.
Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage urologic conditions; perform surgical procedures; provide hospital and emergency room consultations; preoperative planning and postoperative follow-up; patient and family education; documentation; quality improvement and professional development.
Required Procedures: Surgical procedures in modern operating rooms.
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Established urologist and nurse practitioner; collaborative team environment.
Days Per Month: 7 days/month of call coverage
On-Call/Weekends: Light call schedule covering the site approximately 7 days per month; weekend requirements not explicitly stated.
Submission Requirements:
- Board certified or board eligible in Urology
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days
- Active Vermont License and completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada
