Join a dynamic outpatient neurology team as a locum tenens physician in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This is a great opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible neurologist to provide consistent weekday coverage in a vibrant coastal community with easy access to southern New Jersey patients who rely on timely specialty care.

• Setting: 100% outpatient neurology clinic coverage
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Hours per Week: 40
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,000-$7,500
• Patient Volume: Approximately 14-18 patients per day
• Coverage Type: Weekday outpatient neurology only; no inpatient, night, weekend, or holiday coverage anticipated
• Location: Atlantic City, NJ 08401, with coverage coordinated across nearby outpatient practice locations in southern New Jersey

• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology
• At least 1 year of experience in outpatient general neurology or a closely related setting
• Active, unrestricted New Jersey medical license or ability to obtain one
• Active DEA and New Jersey CDS prior to start
• BLS certification
• Ability to provide consistent coverage and rotate among assigned outpatient locations as needed
• Experience with Cerner or a comparable EMR preferred
• Comfortable managing adult and geriatric neurology patients in an outpatient setting

• Evaluate and manage new and established adult and geriatric neurology patients
• Diagnose and treat common neurological conditions, including headache, migraine, seizure disorders, neuropathy, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, cognitive disorders, and post-stroke follow-up
• Review diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and outside medical records
• Order appropriate diagnostic testing and manage medications
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, advanced practice providers, specialists, and the broader neuroscience team
• Complete documentation, patient messages, test-result review, and follow-up tasks in a timely manner
• Provide independent outpatient coverage while maintaining high standards of patient care and continuity
