Position Overview

Position: Assistant Professor or above in the Department of Urology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Series: Health Sciences Clinical Series (non‑tenure track). Responsibilities include patient care, resident teaching, medical student precepting, university and department service, and scholarly or other creative activities. The appointment is for one year with annual reappointment considered. Salary range: $300,000 - $750,000 (minimum base pay per UC salary scales).

Qualifications

• Medical degree (M.D., D.O., or M.D./Ph.D.) from an accredited institution with appropriate clinical training and experience.
• Current or pending California Medical License and Board certification (or eligibility).
• Demonstrated capabilities for teaching, professional service, and/or research appropriate to the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series.
• Board-eligible or certified with appropriate clinical and training experience.
• Preferred: excellence in research with a track record of extramural funding.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in the Urological Oncology, Pediatric Urology, Renal Transplantation, Endourology and Stone Disease, Andrology/Men's Reproductive Medicine, and Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery divisions. Teach residents and medical students, participate in university and department service, and engage in scholarly or creative activities.
