Responsibilities
- Direct patient care throughout the health system via consult orders and provide consultation services in collaboration with attending or primary care providers
- Communicate with attending physicians, nurses, families, and other treatment team members to establish the appropriate care plan
- Comply with best practices and follow performance improvement initiatives
- Work with Memorial Hermann physicians, risk managers, and case managers to resolve clinical, administrative, or technical problems
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to compliance and privacy policies

Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible; graduate of an accredited school of medicine
