BJC Medical Group is seeking an Outpatient Urologist to join our team at BJC Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Missouri. This is a full-time, 100% Urology practice with excellent support with an established multi-specialty clinic staff. Farmington, located about an hour from St. Louis, Missouri, offers a small-town feel with easy access to big-city amenities.

Responsibilities

• Manages the medical care of patient panel by providing or arranging for inpatient hospital care of physician’s patients, through hospital rounds or coordination with hospitalists as needed, in accordance with Medical Staff requirements.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent patient care outcomes at designated clinic locations and other BJC clinical outreach locations.
• Performs and documents medical histories and physicals in the patient’s medical record as required by hospital medical staff bylaws.
• Provides or arranges for call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage in a manner acceptable to BJC and in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws and policies.
• Collaborates and teaches advanced practice providers and care team members.
• This position is safety-sensitive; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is essential.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Doctorate
• Medicine

Experience

Licenses & Certifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Practicing Specialty
• Licensed Physician

Preferred Requirements

• 2-5 years
