Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination.
- Admit (applicable to setting) evaluate, diagnose, and provide pre-, intra-, and postoperative care.
- Perform Urologic surgical procedures for patients of all ages.
- Address disorders of the genitourinary system, and the adrenal gland, including endoscopic, percutaneous, and open surgery of congenital and acquired conditions of the urinary and reproductive systems and their contiguous structures.

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Urology residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training.
- Experience can be demonstrated by providing a residency log if just completed residency.
- If not applying directly out of residency, provide a quality profile from current hospital(s) showing clinical activity for the past 12 months, including numbers of procedures performed, morbidity, mortality, infection rates, and other complications.
- Must be able to demonstrate at least 50 urology procedures in the last 12 months.
