Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to join our well-established practice in Meridian, Mississippi. The incoming physician will collaborate with a robotics-trained urologist and two urology APPs within a supportive, physician-led organization. Practice Info
- Large 8 county referral network with a patient service area of over 350,000
- Urology Clinic is located in a building adjacent to the hospital and OR
- Equipped with two da Vinci Robots (XI and SI)
- Adult Hospitalist program has been here for 20 years
- All new or upgraded equipment including cysto table, laser, scopes, camera & video system
- EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the health system
Responsibilities
- Perform clinic and OR procedures
- Perform procedures including Navigated Prostate Biopsy (Invivo), Blue Light for identification and treatment of Bladder Cancer, and Urolift for BPH
- Perform Urodynamics
- Participate in teaching opportunities for local family medicine residency program
Shift & Schedule
- Flexible schedule M-F with clinic and OR
- Call: 10 days a month (only 3 days will be on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
- Block time available for surgeons
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist
- Individuals who reside in and will work from Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington D.C. are not eligible for remote work position
