Overview

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Urologist to join the medical staff at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey. Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage a broad range of urologic conditions, including:Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)Nephrolithiasis (kidney stones)Urinary tract disordersUrologic malignanciesMale reproductive and sexual health conditionsPerform urologic procedures and surgeries consistent with training, experience, and granted privilegesProvide inpatient consultations and outpatient follow-up careParticipate in shared call coverage per department policyCollaborate closely with primary care physicians, hospitalists, emergency medicine, oncology, and ancillary servicesMaintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation within the electronic medical recordAdhere to Prime Healthcare policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirementsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and patient safety programs

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an ACGME-accredited Urology ResidencyBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Urology (American Board of Urology)Eligibility for New Jersey medical licensureEligibility for DEA registration and hospital credentialingStrong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skillsCommitment to evidence-based medicine, ethical practice, and patient-centered care

Pay Transparency

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $425,000 to $475,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
