Urologist opportunity

Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) has an immediate full‑time opening for a Board-Eligible / Board-Certified Urologist to join our exemplary Urological team providing extraordinary care to Veterans and fulfilling the VA Mission.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of urological services including pre‑operative patient assessment, exam, management, and all aspects of adult urological surgery.
• Duties include providing surgical treatment for genitourinary injuries and diseases, including major and minor procedures.
• Robotics training/experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Urologist.
• Full & unrestricted active U.S. medical license.
• Effective communicator with colleagues, patients, and families.
• Consideration for a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and integral to education and teaching of urology fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Must be board-certified to receive the 5 days off for CME.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (approximate & minimal call)
