Cooper University Health Care – Urologist (Full-time)

The Department of Surgery at Cooper University Hospital is seeking to hire a full‑time urologist who has completed an accredited residency in Urology and whose primary focus is on the evaluation and management of common urologic conditions (general urology). The successful candidate must hold an MD degree and be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Urology. The position will be filled in a rank and series commensurate with experience.

• Experience in general urology conditions with a special emphasis to include benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), urinary stone disease, and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS).
• Exemplary track record of patient care and an active interest in clinical research or education (preferred).
• Opportunities for investigator‑initiated research as well as basic and translational collaboration with scientists in the department of surgery.
• Work in the outpatient clinic setting performing patient evaluation and office‑based procedures.
• Operating room privileges granted for surgical procedures based upon the candidate’s experience.
• Recognized skills in the education of trainees, including but not limited to Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows.

All candidates must have or be able to obtain a New Jersey medical license. Applicants must meet all required qualifications by time of hire.

Cooper University Hospital, the clinical campus of Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, is the leading provider of health services to Southern New Jersey. Cooper’s main hospital is located in Camden, NJ, with satellite offices in Cherry Hill, Moorestown, Voorhees, and Washington Township and a surgery center in Voorhees.

Salary: $387,130 (minimum base salary; full compensation package includes additional benefits)
