Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to join a well-established, high-volume practice in Bismarck, North Dakota. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including both adult and pediatric cases, within a supportive and innovative environment. The incoming physician will join a successful group of two physicians and benefit from a large referral base and teaching opportunities.

Practice Info

  • Join a successful, well-established group of 2 physicians
  • High volume practice, seeing 30+ patients per day
  • Current practice sees 80% adult and 20% pediatrics
  • UNOS certified kidney transplant program
  • Utilizes Xi DaVinci robot
  • Large referral base spanning western ND

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination
  • Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and provide pre-, intra-, and postoperative care
  • Perform Urologic surgical procedures for patients of all ages
  • Address disorders of the genitourinary system and the adrenal gland
  • Perform endoscopic, percutaneous, and open surgery of congenital and acquired conditions of the urinary and reproductive systems and their contiguous structures

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Urology residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
  • Ability to demonstrate at least 50 urology procedures in the last 12 months (for applicants not directly out of residency)
