Position Overview: The Department of Surgery at Cooper University Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time urologist who has completed an accredited residency in Urology and whose primary focus is on the evaluation and management of common urologic conditions (general urology). The successful candidate must hold an MD degree and be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Urology. The position will be filled in a rank and series commensurate with experience.
Specialties: Benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), urinary stone disease, lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). The candidate should have an exemplary track record of patient care and an active interest in clinical research or education. Opportunities for investigator‑initiated research and basic/translational collaboration are available.
Clinical Duties: Outpatient clinic evaluations, office‑based procedures, and operating‑room privileges as appropriate. The candidate must have recognized skills in education of trainees (medical students, residents, fellows) and be able to obtain a New Jersey medical license.
Pay Range: Hourly Rate Min $180.29 | Hourly Rate Max $329.46
