Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP following credentialing
• End Date: March 31, 2027
• Commitment: One week per month; approximately 7 Äì14 shifts
• Clinic Schedule: Monday ÄìFriday, 8:00 AM Äì5:00 PM
• Call: 24-hour beeper call
• Call Response Time: 20 minutes
• Call Ratio: Approximately 1:4
• Weekend Coverage: Minimal inpatient rounding while on call
• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
• Patient Volume: Approximately 8 Äì10 per day
• Appointment Length: 60 minutes for new and diabetes visits; 30 minutes for follow-ups
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
• Temporary Privileges: Unavailable
• Support: One APP
Requirements
• Board-Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist
• Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship training
• Active Washington license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
• Active DEA
• Ability to provide one consistent week per month
• Availability for clinic, 24-hour call, and minimal weekend rounding
• Current CV required at presentation
• Professional references required with presentation
• Hospital privileges required
Clinical Details
• Evaluate new and established Pediatric Endocrinology patients
• Diagnose and manage diabetes and other endocrine disorders
• Provide scheduled outpatient consultations and follow-up care
• Manage telephone consultations during beeper call
• Perform minimal inpatient rounding on call weekends
• Coordinate care with the Pediatric Endocrinology team and supporting APP
• No APP, resident, or teaching supervision responsibilities
