Position Overview

n

Baylor Scott & White Texas Urogynecology Associates is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join a collaborative urogynecology team led by Michael E. Carley, MD.

n

This is a clinic-based, non-operative role supporting patients in Dallas and Waxahachie. The PA will practice with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with physicians and care teams.

    Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical exams

    Diagnose and manage urogynecologic conditions

  • n

    Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests

    n
  • n
  • n

    Develop and implement treatment plans

    n
  • n
  • n

    Prescribe medications and therapies

    n
  • n
  • n

    Perform in-office procedures, including:

    n
  • n
  • n

    Bladder instillations

    n
  • n
  • n

    Pelvic floor therapy with electrical stimulation

    n
  • n
  • n

    Pessary fittings

    n
  • n
  • n

    Vaginal swabs

    n
  • n
  • n

    Urine specimen processing

    n
  • n
  • n

    Urethral catheterization

    n
  • n
  • n

    Provide patient education and counseling

    n
  • n
  • n

    Manage pre- and post-procedure care

    Maintain accurate EMR documentation

    Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

    Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

    Active Texas PA license

    Preferred: Experience in urogynecology, urology, or women's health

  • n

    Ability to work independently in a clinic-based setting
