This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care for female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, including managing urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and fecal incontinence. Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination
  • Admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to female adolescent or adult patients presenting with injuries and disorders of the genitourinary system

Requirements

  • BE/BC Urogynecologist/Urologist
  • Experience in a wide range of surgical approaches in the management of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and fecal incontinence
  • Skilled in vaginal, laparoscopic and abdominal approaches
  • Robotics Trained
  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program or a Urology Residency program and a Fellowship program in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training
  • Ability to demonstrate performance of 50 female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgical procedures, reflective of the core privileges requested, in the past 12 months (for applicants not directly out of fellowship)
