Mount Sinai South Nassau is seeking a full-time Urogynecologist to join its Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology on Long Island, New York. - The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology consists of over 40 full-time and voluntary board-certified physicians.
- The department supports 16 residents in a four-year residency program and an active teaching program for third-year medical students.
- All OB/GYN sub-specialties are represented in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- The department has 3 residents per year, 12 total, approved for 16 total.
- Dedicated support staff.
Responsibilities
- Teach medical students and residents by lecture, rounds, and clinical activity in the office and operating room.
- Provide Urogynocology care, including ambulatory care and surgery in the hospital.
- Perform general administration duties that include documenting and reviewing patient charts.
- Responsible for teaching, research, service, and related administrative activities.
- Responsible for academic advising and related activities.
- Significant involvement in the training of Urogynecology fellows and research.
- Collaborate with colleagues as an integral part of a health system.
Compensation
- Compensation range from $230,000 to $400,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).
Requirements
- Medical Degree from an accredited program.
- New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
- Successful completion of a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship.
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills.
