- Dedicated team of physicians in the Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Division.
- Focus on care for women with bladder and pelvic abnormalities, including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, bladder infections, and sexual problems.
- Fuses expertise from several specialties, such as urology, gynecology, and gastroenterology.
- Staten Island University Hospital is a 714-bed, specialized teaching hospital.
- Strong academic section in a tertiary care referral network with a busy ultrasound unit and high-risk practice.
- Performs approximately 3000 deliveries a year and has a level 3 nursery with a superb neonatology service.
