Uro-Oncologist
Northwell Health is expanding its urological health services and seeking a Uro-Oncologist to join their team in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to comprehensive, integrated healthcare within a large health system, collaborating with experienced partners and an extensive network of physician extenders. The successful candidate will advance the frontiers of urologic care and potentially hold an academic appointment with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
Practice Info
- Part of Northwell Health's Arthur Smith Institute for Urology, which has seen tremendous growth over the past five years within Long Island, New York City, and Westchester
- Physicians have vast experience in minimally invasive procedures to treat all urologic diseases including those affecting the bladder, kidneys, male genitalia, and prostate
- Weekly conferences are held to keep all updated on the latest treatments and technologies
- Residencies and an extensive network of physician extenders are available
- Access to the expertise of the largest health system in the New York Metropolitan area
- Physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners, the fifth largest medical group in the country

Requirements
- MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine
- Completion of Residency with Board Certification or eligibility
- Completion of Fellowship training in Urologic Oncology
- Currently licensed as a physician in the State of New York
- Outstanding communication and management skills and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and hospital management
- Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques
