Live Oak Veterinary Specialists (LOVS) in Savannah, Georgia is expanding — and we’re looking for passionate Urgent Care/ER veterinarians to help us build the next chapter of our emergency and specialty medicine program.

LOVS isn’t new to the scene. We’ve proudly served Savannah for the past 10 years, offering cutting‑edge neurology and cardiology care with compassion at our core. Now, we’re growing into a state‑of‑the‑art facility and expanding our services to include emergency/critical care and additional specialties.

The Schedule

We’re specifically looking for Urgent Care/ER veterinarians interested in evening and weekend coverage while we continue building our overnight emergency team.

Hours:

Monday–Friday: 5:00 PM–Midnight

Saturday–Sunday: 7:00 PM–Midnight

This schedule is designed for veterinarians who enjoy emergency and urgent care medicine and want the opportunity to practice in a busy specialty hospital — without committing to a traditional overnight schedule.

• 64‑Slice CT & 1.5 Tesla MRI
• Fluoroscopy & ultrasound
• Endoscopy & minimally invasive surgery
• A dedicated ICU for the tough cases
• In‑house lab for quick answers
• A collaborative team of specialty and emergency clinicians

What’s In It for You

• $150,000 base salary + 25% production, paid quarterly with no negative accrual
• $45,000 signing bonus, paid over 3 years
• Relocation assistance available

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for:

• Board-certified or board‑eligible Critical Care specialists, and/or
• Internship‑trained ER veterinarians with a strong interest in emergency and urgent care medicine
• Veterinarians who are collaborative, compassionate, confident, and comfortable managing urgent and emergency cases
• Teammates who enjoy working alongside specialists and want access to advanced diagnostics and specialty support
• People who get fired up about advancing their skills and being part of something bigger than themselves
• A little bit of personality and a good sense of humor never hurts
