Join a hospital-employed Urgent Care opportunity in West Union, OH, with a facility that also includes Family Practice services. This role offers a 2-year contract and the chance to work in a dynamic environment. Practice Info
- The facility consists of both Urgent Care and Family Practice.
- The facility is open 7 days/week, 8am-8pm.
- Staffing includes 1 nurse per provider and 2 providers per day.
- Current providers include Sarica Lillie, NP, Andrew Shaheen, NP, Tara Applegate, NP, and Teresa Barnett, NP.
- Expected caseload is 30 patients per day.
- Equipment includes IV pumps, slit lamp, basic instruments, AED, and EKG.
Responsibilities
- Move at a quick pace and manage the unknown of what will walk through the door.
- Confidently make a quick initial assessment and treatment plan.
- Complete charts timely.
- Participate in Antibiotic Stewardship.
Compensation
- Bonus incentives up to 10% of salary.
- Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment).
- Sign on Bonus: 15% of base salary up to $100,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2-4 years).
- Residency Stipend: up to $25,000 (requires up to 2 year service commitment).

- Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $22,500 year before taxes. No matching.
- Retirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $23,000 year before taxes under age 50 and $30,500 for over age 50. SOMC matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay.
- Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company.
- Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $2,000,000, per claim/$6,000,000, aggregate.
- Health Insurance: provider pays small premium, deducted from paycheck.
Shift & Schedule
- Office Hours: 8:00a-8:00p.
- Work Schedule: (6 or 7) 12 hour shifts per two week pay period.
- Rotating weekends.
